Scheduling inspections just got a whole lot easier – and it started with a few notes and a couple of emails. Here’s what we built, why we built it, and why your team is gonna love this!
A property manager schedules a move-out inspection for unit 34 using the SnapInspect mobile app — keeping the process fast and organised between tenancies.
For a while now, we’ve been hearing people complain about scheduling inspections. The general consensus was that it took too many clicks and was more frustrating than it needed to be.
You used to have to click on the “View” button in the table, which would take you to the property details page, and then you could schedule the inspection. Once you’d scheduled the inspection, you had to click “Save” and then return to the properties list.
We counted it out…
It used to take 4 clicks, 3 different pages.
(And to be honest, it was pretty cumbersome). More clicks than necessary – we get it. You know our team wants better for you. After some good discussions, we went to the drawing board and came up with something we like to call “In Table Scheduling”.
It allows you to schedule inspections within any table inside the SnapInspect platform.

How this new scheduling works in the app:
You click the scheduled date, and it pops up a calendar with a time slider. You don’t have to leave the page you’re on. You can schedule inspections from anywhere in the app for property managers, fellow maintenance technicians, or a vendor that’s saved in your contacts, and it only takes 2 clicks instead of 4.
How This Feature Started
It started with a doodle on paper. We sent a photo of it to a few property managers and asked:
“Would this make scheduling easier?”
They said yes – so we built it.
